Luis Díaz has scored 15 goals in only 25 appearances for FC Bayern Munich. That return from a midfielder and winger tells you he is not asked to hug the touchline: he is pushed high and infield to get on the end of moves, while Colombia rely on him in the same forward areas.
He arrived in Germany in 2025 after three seasons at Liverpool. Before England came FC Porto, and before Portugal a first senior spell at Barranquilla. Along the way he has won 70 caps for Colombia, scoring 21 times. Still 29, he is now into the 2025/26 Bundesliga campaign with Bayern.
